Zach Werenski had a goal for Columbus and assisted on the other two, scored by Alexandre Texier and Kirill Marchenko.
Trailing 3-2 late in regulation, Detroit pulled goalie James Reimer and tied the game with 12.6 seconds left when Raymond pounced on a rebound and banked the puck off of Columbus defenseman Damon Severson and into the goal to make it 3-3.
With the game tied 2-2 in the third period, Columbus took the lead with 15:34 remaining on a power-play goal by Marchenko, who beat Reimer on the glove side.
Down 2-0 after the first period, the Red Wings quickly tied the game at 2-2 on goals 1:26 apart early in the second.

With 15:37 left in the second, Seider fired a point shot that went off of the skate of Columbus defenseman Erik Gudbranson and into the goal to tie the game.
Columbus jumped out to a 2-0 lead after a dominant first period. The Blue Jackets outshot Detroit 20-5 despite the Red Wings having the only two power plays of the period.
The Blue Jackets took a 1-0 lead with 14:04 remaining in the first when Werenski stole the puck from Detroit's Christian Fischer at the Columbus blue line, skated in all alone and fired a shot past Reimer on the glove side.
Immediately after killing off a Detroit power play, Columbus took a 2-0 lead with 6:17 remaining when Texier came out of the penalty box, took a pass from Werenski and fired a shot underneath the crossbar for another breakaway goal.
Reimer finished with 32 saves, while Columbus' Daniil Tarasov stopped 23 shots.
