The Metropolitan Division will face the Central Division from the Western Conference in the final.

Seth Jones of the Columbus Blue Jackets and Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins scored two goals each for the Metropolitan Division.

Pittsburgh defenseman Kris Letang scored on a breakaway with 3:34 left to give the Metropolitan Division a 5-4 lead.

Sebastian Aho of the Carolina Hurricanes scored with 1:52 left to make it 6-4, and Cam Atkinson of the Blue Jackets scored into an empty net with 46 seconds remaining for the only three-goal lead of the game.

Jeff Skinner of the Buffalo Sabres pulled the Atlantic into a 3-3 tie 56 seconds into the second 10-minute period. John Tavares of the Toronto Maple Leafs scored on a breakaway 32 seconds later to give the Atlantic its first lead at 4-3.

Crosby scored his second goal with a near-side wrist shot from the right circle as the Metropolitan tied the score 4-4 at the 3:37 mark of the second period.

Crosby scored his first goal 15 seconds into the game against Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy.

Jones made it 2-0 at 1:56, but Vasilevskiy kept the Metropolitan Division off the board until Jones scored again with 20 seconds left in the 10-minute period to give the Metropolitan a 3-2 lead at the lone intermission.

Buffalo forward Jack Eichel made it 2-1 at 2:04, and Steven Stamkos of Tampa Bay tied the score 2-2 at 3:13 before Lundqvist also tightened up in net and didn't allow a goal the rest of the period.

The first semifinal wasn't as crisply played in net, particularly by the Pacific Division.

Anaheim Ducks goalie John Gibson allowed seven goals on nine shots as the Central Division surged to a 7-1 halftime lead. The Central Division scored eight straight goals in the eventual 10-4 win.
