Kyle Connor scored with 1:44 to go in overtime to help the Winnipeg Jets break the franchise record for points in a season with a 3-2 victory over the visiting Anaheim Ducks on Friday night.

Winnipeg (45-19-10, 100 points) surpassed the previous mark of 99 points set in 2014-15. The Jets won their fifth straight home game and now lead the NHL with 28 home victories (28-7-2).

Mark Scheifele had a goal and two assists, including one on the game-winner when he fed Connor on a two-on-one. Connor, who also netted the game-winner in OT in Winnipeg's 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday, fired a shot through the pads of goaltender John Gibson for his 28th goal of the season.

Nikolaj Ehlers also scored a goal and Connor Hellebuyck made 16 saves for the Jets, who improved to 17-4-2 against Pacific Division teams.

Derek Grant and Nick Ritchie scored for Anaheim (38-24-13, 89), which had a four-game winning streak snapped. Gibson kept the Ducks in the game with a brilliant performance, stopping 39 shots.

Grant gave Anaheim a 1-0 lead at the 5:51 mark of the first period with a power-play goal, redirecting a Hampus Lindholm shot from the right point past Hellebuyck's stick side. It was the 100th career assist for Lindholm.

Winnipeg, which outshot the Ducks 17-4 in the first period, tied it 55 seconds later when Ehlers fired in a wrist shot from the slot off a pass from Scheifele for his 28th goal of the season.

Scheifele, who hit the crossbar in the first period, gave the Jets a 2-1 lead just 45 seconds into the second period. He one-timed a shot from the left circle off a pass from Wheeler, who recorded his 64th assist of the season on the play, tying him with Philadelphia's Claude Giroux for first place in the NHL.

Ritchie tied the game midway through the third period, finishing a two-on-one break with a wrist shot that squirted through Hellebuyck's pads, setting the stage for Connor's game-winner.

Anaheim played without center Ryan Getzlaf, the team leader with 45 assists. Getzlaf was scratched due to the flu.
