Ducks 5, Oilers 1: Defenseman Francois Beauchemin and Andrew Cogliano each recorded a goal and an assist as host Anaheim clinched its third straight Pacific Division title and fourth overall.

Corey Perry, Nate Thompson and blue-liner Simon Despres also scored for the Ducks, who moved four points ahead of Nashville and the New York Rangers in the race for the Presidents' Trophy. Jakob Silfverberg collected three assists and Frederik Andersen made 22 saves as Anaheim completed a sweep of the four-game season series with its fourth consecutive victory overall.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins netted the lone goal for the Oilers, who had their three-game winning streak snapped. Ben Scrivens turned aside 22 shots as Edmonton suffered just its second regulation loss in nine contests (5-2-2).

Beauchemin opened the scoring 3:43 into the contest with a shot from the top of the slot that beat a screened Scrivens. Thompson doubled the lead midway through the first period and Perry made it 3-0 at 8:33 of the second, regaining possession of the puck after his cross-slot pass attempt during a 2-on-1 rush was blocked and burying it at the left post.

Despres continued the onslaught 3 1/2 minutes later with a one-timer from the top of the left faceoff circle that caromed in off Edmonton defenseman Nikita Nikitin before Nugent-Hopkins got the Oilers on the board five minutes later with his fifth goal in seven games. Cogliano extended Anaheim's advantage at 5:14 of the third, converting a penalty shot that was awarded after he was slashed from behind on a breakaway by Edmonton blue-liner Oscar Klefbom.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Perry's goal was his 600th career point while Beauchemin's assist on the tally was his 126th with Anaheim, moving him past Oleg Tverdovsky for second place on the franchise list among defensemen. ... Ducks C Ryan Kesler was given the night off as he nurses what's believed to be an arm injury, marking the first game he's missed this season. ... Edmonton was without C Matt Hendricks due to a back injury and G Richard Bachman, who left the team due to a death in the family. G Tyler Bunz, who has yet to make his NHL debut after being selected in the fifth round of the 2010 draft, was recalled from Oklahoma City of the American Hockey League and served as Scrivens' backup.
