Jets 4, Blackhawks 2: Bryan Little and Chris Thorburn tallied 28 seconds apart near the midway point of the third period as Winnipeg defeated Chicago at the United Center for the third time in as many meetings this season.

Defenseman Zach Bogosian and captain Andrew Ladd joined Little with a goal and an assist for the Jets, who improved to 4-0-1 despite playing all five contests in a seven-day stretch. Blue-liner Dustin Byfuglien and Blake Wheeler each notched two assists while Michael Hutchinson (31 saves) has turned aside 102-of-105 shots versus the Blackhawks this season.

Brandon Saad scored his third goal in three games and Teuvo Teravainen netted his first career tally for Chicago, which has dropped four of its last seven contests. All-Star captain Jonathan Toews notched his sixth assist in four games and Marian Hossa also set up a goal to extend his point streak to three contests.

With Andrew Shaw serving a holding penalty, Bogosian wristed a slick feed from the right circle to the left doorstep for an easy conversion for Little to give Winnipeg a 2-1 lead at 9:31 of the third period. Thorburn deflected Adam Lowry's shot past Corey Crawford (31 saves) before Teravainen trimmed the gap by cleaning up a loose puck in the slot under three minutes later, but Ladd sealed the win by scoring into an empty net with 29 seconds remaining.

Saad skated into the offensive zone before unleashing a backhand shot from the right faceoff crcle that sailed over the right shoulder of Hutchinson to open the scoring 53 seconds into the contest. Winnipeg answered midway into the first period as Ladd patiently skated out from behind the net and into the right circle before setting up Bogosian's blast from the point.
