Coyotes 4, Oilers 3 (OT): Defenseman Keith Yandle set up the tying goal late in regulation and scored his second of the night at 4:53 of overtime as Phoenix rallied to beat visiting Edmonton.

Mikkel Boedker tallied with 70 seconds left in the third period off a give-and-go feed from Yandle, who carried the puck from his own blue line all the way in for the winner. Tim Kennedy also scored for Phoenix and Thomas Greiss made 15 saves in relief of starter Mike Smith, who allowed three goals on 10 shots.

David Perron recorded a goal and an assist, Taylor Hall set up three scores and former Phoenix goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov turned aside 41 shots for Edmonton. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and defenseman Justin Schultz also tallied for the Oilers, who extended their point streak to four games (2-0-2).

Phoenix outshot Edmonton 21-6 in the opening period but ended the session with only a 1-1 tie. Yandle chased down his deflected pass attempt and whipped a wrist shot past Bryzgalov at 10:59, but Nugent-Hopkins knocked in a loose puck in front with 1:10 left to even the contest.

Hall’s nifty stretch pass sprung Perron for a breakaway goal 25 seconds into the second session, and he also set up Schultz in the slot at 6:44 for a 3-1 Oilers lead. Kennedy brought the Coyotes within a goal when he banked a shot in off Bryzgalov at the left post with 7:55 remaining in the second.
