Ducks 5, Blues 2: Captain Ryan Getzlaf extended his point streak to 13 games with a goal and an assist as Anaheim halted St. Louis' string of five straight home wins.

Andrew Cogliano scored twice, Nick Bonino also recorded a goal and an assist and Corey Perry added a tally for the Ducks, who have earned at least one point in five consecutive contests and eight of their last nine (5-1-3). Frederik Andersen turned aside 26 shots.

Jaden Schwartz and Patrik Berglund scored for the Blues, who dropped to 8-1-2 in their last 11 home games. Jaroslav Halak allowed three goals on eight shots before being replaced by Brian Elliott, who made 13 saves.

Anaheim needed only 70 seconds to get on the board as Cogliano's pass attempt from along the end line on the right side caromed off the skate of Blues defenseman Barret Jackman and past Halak. Perry doubled the lead at 5:36, tipping in Getzlaf's wrist shot from the top of the slot during a power play for his 18th of the season.

Getzlaf scored his 16th less than two minutes later, when he knocked a cross-ice pass out of the air and beat Halak to the stick side from the right faceoff circle. Bonino made it 4-0 late in the second period before Schwartz and Berglund tallied 5:20 apart in the third to halve the deficit, but Cogliano capped the win - and his first two-goal effort of the season - with an empty-netter late in the session.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Getzlaf has collected 10 goals and 10 assists during his point streak. Perry's goal extended his run to seven games, but RW Dustin Penner's career-best streak ended at six contests. ... The Ducks avoided a shootout for the first time in four games. ... The regulation loss was St. Louis' first in its last eight home meetings (6-1-1) with Anaheim.
