Flyers 5, Senators 0: Jakub Voracek scored twice and Steve Mason turned aside 24 shots for his 20th career shutout as visiting Philadelphia matched its season high in goals.

Vincent Lecavalier tallied for the second straight game with his team-leading seventh goal. Brayden Schenn matched Lecavalier by scoring and setting up a goal, Matt Read also tallied and captain Claude Giroux notched two assists for his 300th and 301st points in his 350th career game for the Flyers.

Craig Anderson struggled in his return from a neck injury, finishing with 26 saves as the Senators saw their season-high three-game winning streak come to an end.

After being held without a shot for over a nine-minute span, Philadelphia opened the scoring as Steve Downie's shot sailed high off the glass. The puck fell to the ice and Read alertly swooped in and banked it off Anderson's skate and into the net with 3:36 remaining in the first period.

Voracek doubled the advantage 28 seconds into the middle session after stuffing home a feed from Scott Hartnell, who picked up his first assist in 38 games dating back to last season. The Czech netted his second goal just over 10 minutes later as he converted Wayne Simmonds' brilliant no-look feed and Mason was hardly tested the rest of the way en route to his first shutout of the season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Downie notched an assist in his return from a four-game absence due to an eye injury and concussion. ...
