Bruins 2, Senators 1: Defenseman Dennis Seidenberg scored his first goal to snap a tie with 1:04 remaining in the third period as Boston recorded its 11th consecutive victory in Canada's capital city.

Fourth-liner Daniel Paille also tallied and Anton Khudobin turned aside 27 shots for the Bruins, who snapped a two-game overall losing streak and a three-game slide on the road.

Kaspars Daugavins scored and veteran defenseman Sergei Gonchar set up the tally to extend his assist streak to a team-record nine contests. Robin Lehner finished with 27 saves for the Senators, who saw their three-game winning streak come to an end and fell to 10-2-3 at Scotiabank Place.

With the game tied at 1-1, Patrice Bergeron won a faceoff in the offensive zone. Captain Zdeno Chara quickly fed Seidenberg, who one-timed a shot from the point which sailed past a screened Lehner for his first goal since April 1.

Daugavins opened the scoring at 4:55 of the second period, when his wrist shot from outside the left faceoff circle sailed over the glove of Khudobin. Officials reviewed the play and determined that Mika Zibanejad's elevated stick did not touch the puck - allowing the goal to stand. Paille leveled the contest when he beat Lehner to the short side with 1:22 remaining in the session.
