Ducks 4, Blackhawks 2: Bobby Ryan and Teemu Selanne scored 64 seconds apart late in the third period as Anaheim defeated Chicago for the second time and extended its franchise-best home winning streak to 13 games.

Captain Ryan Getzlaf set up both late goals and rookie Peter Holland scored for the second time in as many contests. Defenseman Sheldon Souray added an empty-net goal and Jonas Hiller turned aside 22 shots for the Ducks, who improved to 9-0-3 in their last 12 contests and pulled within three points of the Western Conference-leading Blackhawks.

Defenseman Nick Leddy celebrated his 22nd birthday with a power-play goal and captain Jonathan Toews scored on a short-handed breakaway for his fourth goal in three games. Patrick Kane added an assist to extend his point streak to five games and Corey Crawford finished with 22 saves for Chicago, which saw its three-game winning streak come to an end.

Crawford kicked out Getzlaf's shot to an unmarked Ryan, who deposited the puck into the net to level the contest at 2-2 with 5:27 remaining in the third period. A subsequent Blackhawks' turnover at the blue line allowed the Ducks to make a 3-on-1 rush before Getzlaf fed Selanne on the doorstep for his 670th career goal.

With the game tied at 1-1 and Souray serving a holding penalty, Leddy's blast from just inside the blue line beat a screened Hiller at 11:54 of the second period. Viktor Stalberg provided the distraction on the goal, which gave Leddy his fourth point in his last three contests.

GAME NOTEBOOK: LW Brandon Bollig nearly gave Chicago a 3-1 lead with what would have been his first career regular-season goal at 5:57 of the third period, but officials deemed that he used a distinct kicking motion. Bollig scored in the playoffs last season. ... Holland opened the scoring 1:24 into the first period after cleaning up a carom off the end boards, but Toews countered nearly 1 1/2 minutes later by using his superior speed before tucking the puck past Hiller. ... Marian Hossa of the Blackhawks sat out after suffering an upper-body injury at the hands of Ryan O'Byrne and the Avalanche on Monday.
