Stars 3, Ducks 1: Defenseman Trevor Daley and Jamie Benn scored power-play goals in the first period and host Dallas halted Anaheim's four-game winning streak.

Loui Eriksson also tallied, Derek Roy and blue-liner Alex Goligoski had two assists apiece and Kari Lehtonen made 20 saves for the Stars, who improved to 8-1-2 in their last 11 meetings with the Ducks. Dallas is 71-0-8 when leading after two periods since Oct. 31, 2009.

Nick Bonino scored for Anaheim, which had its six-game point streak halted as it dropped to 1-1-0 on its six-game road trip. Viktor Fasth yielded one goal on 12 shots in relief of Jonas Hiller, who left after one period with a lower-body injury.

Dallas built a 2-0 lead in the first period thanks to a pair of Brad Staubitz penalties. With Staubitz in the box for roughing, Daley drilled a one-timer from the blue line past Hiller at 8:48 for his first goal since Dec. 31, 2011 against Boston.

Staubitz received a major for spearing Stars defenseman Brenden Dillon less than four minutes later, and Benn beat Hiller from a tough angle at the bottom of the left faceoff circle at 12:59 for his fourth goal in three games. Bonino got Anaheim on the board with a deflection late in the second session, but Eriksson restored the two-goal advantage midway through the third.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The victory was the Stars' 758th since moving to Dallas 19 seasons ago. It took the franchise 26 campaigns to reach that total while in Minnesota. ... D Ben Lovejoy registered four shots and blocked three over 16:20 of ice time in his debut for the Ducks. Lovejoy was acquired from the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday. ... Goligoski responded with a two-point effort after being a healthy scratch for Wednesday's overtime win in Edmonton.
