FLAMES 5, CANADIENS 4: Captain Jarome Iginla had two goals and Curtis Glencross added a goal and two assists as Calgary snapped a five-game losing streak at home.

The Flames held off a late rally to win their sixth straight game at home over Montreal and snap a two-game slide overall.

The Flames built a 4-2 lead on Iginla’s second goal of the game late in the second period. Glencross added his 23rd marker on a slap shot at 7:16 of the third that beat Carey Price to give Calgary a comfortable 5-2 advantage.

Lars Eller and Max Pacioretty answered for the Canadiens midway through the final period to cut the Calgary lead to one. Pacioretty finished with two goals.

Montreal has lost seven of its last eight games and is last in the Eastern Conference with 60 points.

Canadiens forward Mike Cammalleri didn’t play against his former club because of an upper-body injury he suffered in Sunday’s 3-2 shootout loss to the Dallas Stars.

Miikka Kiprusoff made 24 saves for his 29th win of the season.
