All-Star Jamie Benn scored twice while defensemen Alex Goligoski and Stephane Robidas each recorded a goal and an assist as the Dallas Stars posted a 4-2 road victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday.

Mike Ribeiro notched a pair of assists and Kari Lehtonen made 26 saves for Dallas, which scored more than two goals for just the second time in 11 games.

Benn scored from the slot 95 seconds into the game and Goligoski tallied less than three minutes later to give Dallas a 2-0 lead.

Tomas Vincour unleashed a shot from the top of the slot that hit Columbus defenseman Marc Methot in the face. The puck landed on the doorstep, where Goligoski tapped it into a vacant net for his seventh goal of the season.

Robidas beat a screened Curtis Sanford with a one-timer from the right point 69 seconds into the middle period to push the Stars' advantage to 3-0.

The Blue Jackets cut the deficit to one later in the session with a pair of power-play goals.

Vinny Prospal, who signed a one-year extension on Wednesday, got the Blue Jackets on the board at 8:32 by redirecting defenseman Fedor Tyutin's slap pass past Lehtonen. Captain Rick Nash converted a cross-slot feed from Derick Brassard less than four minutes later for his 18th tally.

Benn sealed the win with an empty-net goal with one second remaining in the third.

Tyutin and Brassard had two assists apiece and Sanford stopped 31 shots for Columbus, which has gone nine straight games with three goals or less.
