Daniel Sedin scored the game-winning goal with exactly four minutes remaining in the third period and Roberto Luongo made 42 saves as the Vancouver Canucks dropped the visiting Chicago Blackhawks, 4-3, on Friday.

Henrik Sedin scored and added two assists and Christian Ehrhoff and Mikael Samuelsson also tallied for the Canucks, who trailed 2-1 late in the second period.

Ehrhoff opened the scoring with his 10th goal of the season on a shot from the point in the first period. Defenseman Tanner Glass and rookie Cody Hodgson drew assists on the play.

Captain Jonathan Toews leveled the game at 5:06 of the second period before assisting on Nick Boynton’s first goal of the season 4 1/2 minutes later.

The Canucks clicked on a power play at the 18:44 mark with Samuelsson scoring his 11th goal of the campaign to tie the game heading into the third period.

Dave Bolland recorded his 11th goal of the campaign at 7:47 of the third, but Henrik Sedin replied midway through the period on the power play. Daniel Sedin put the game away with his 28th goal of the campaign with four minutes remaining in regulation.

Marty Turco made 28 saves in the loss.
