Loui Eriksson scored 4:18 into overtime to deny Chris Osgood in his bid for his 400th career NHL victory as the visiting Dallas Stars rallied to a 4-3 triumph over the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday.
Brenden Morrow tallied twice - the latter with 3:14 remaining in the third period to tie the game at 3-3 - and Brad Richards scored for the third time in two days to notch his team-leading 15th goal of the season.
Eriksson also notched a pair of assists for Pacific Division-leading Dallas (20-10-3), which improved to 10-2-2 in its last 14 games. In overtime, Eriksson's wrist shot from the faceoff circle proved to be the winner - and his 14th goal of the season.
Andrew Raycroft finished with 28 saves to improve to 4-1-0 this season. The 30-year-old Raycroft has fared well against the Red Wings, winning five of seven career outings.
Pavel Datsyuk and Johan Franzen collected a goal and an assist apiece and Patrick Eaves also tallied for Western Conference-leading Detroit (20-8-4), which fell to 12-4-3 at Joe Louis Arena this season.
A three-time Stanley Cup champion, Osgood was looking to became the 10th NHL goaltender to reach 400 career victories. The 38-year-old Osgood fell to 399-215-29 with 66 ties during his career.
