BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Ravens scored 10-second-half points in a 13-9 victory over the Buffalo Bills, who lost starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor to a concussion and scratched defensive tackle Marcell Dareus for disciplinary reasons in the third preseason game Saturday night.

Taylor was injured on his team's second series after getting sacked by linebacker Matthew Judon. Taylor had to be helped from the field by team trainers and completed one of three pass attempts for 1 yard.

Dareus was sent home prior to the game for violating a team rule. This is not the first time the former first-round pick has run into trouble, having been suspended twice in the past six seasons.

Ravens kicker Justin Tucker also had to leave the game with a possible concussion late in the first quarter, but he was cleared to return. Tucker had given Baltimore a 3-0 lead and was injured trying to make a tackle on the ensuing kickoff.

Nathan Peterman, a rookie fifth-round pick from Pittsburgh, took over for Taylor and completed 11 of 23 passes for 93 yards (58.8 rating). Bills running back LeSean McCoy played most of the first half and managed just 7 yards on six carries.

An interception by undrafted rookie by Jaylen Hill gave the Ravens the ball on the Buffalo 15 late in the third quarter. This set up a 15-yard touchdown pass from Josh Woodrum to Taquan Mizzell and Baltimore led 10-7.

Woodrum, who is battling for the backup job, was 8 of 13 for 55 yards with the touchdown (96.6 rating).

Kenny Allen hit a 40-yard field goal with 5:51 left in the game to boost Baltimore's lead to 13-7.

The Ravens were still without starting quarterback Joe Flacco, who has yet to practice because of an injured back. Flacco, however, is expected to be ready for the regular-season opener Sept. 10 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

A pass-interference penalty on Ravens cornerback Sheldon Price against Zay Jones gave the Bills the ball at the Baltimore 5. Two plays later, fullback Mike Tolbert gave Buffalo a 7-3 lead at the half with a 1-yard run.

The Ravens had 10 penalties for 110 yards, compared to just 114 yards of total offense in the opening two quarters. The Bills rushed for just 16 yards on nine carries.
