Seahawks 19, 49ers 3: Russell Wilson threw for 236 yards and a touchdown, and Seattle turned in a dominant defensive performance en route to its first win at San Francisco since October 2008.

Wilson finished 15-of-22 with a 13-yard scoring pass to Robert Turbin and Steven Hauschka kicked four field goals as the Seahawks (8-4) took over sole possession of second place in the NFC West with their fifth win in six games. Marshawn Lynch rushed for 104 yards and Richard Sherman had a pair of interceptions to lead a defense that limited the 49ers (7-5) to 164 total yards.

Colin Kaepernick completed 16-of-29 for 121 yards with the two picks and was sacked four times for San Francisco, which had its three-game winning streak snapped in the first of two matchups versus Seattle in 18 days. The 49ers were completely manhandled by the reigning Super Bowl champions, amassing fewer passing yards (90) than Seattle had penalty yards (100) at the two-minute warning.

Sherman's first interception near midfield set up the opening score late in the first quarter as Wilson needed seven plays to convert, finding Turbin in the left flat for a 13-yard scoring pass. Seattle had first-and-goal at the 1 on its next possession, but the 49ers held and forced the Seahawks to settle for the first of two field goals by Hauschka in the second quarter for a 13-0 halftime edge.

Hauschka connected from 35 yards midway through the third quarter to boost the lead to 16-0 after Seattle had an apparent touchdown pass from Wilson to Paul Richardson wiped out by an offensive interference penalty. San Francisco finally put together a sustained drive and got on the scoreboard on Phil Dawson's 40-yard field goal with 1:06 left in the third, but Hauschka answered with a 46-yarder and Sherman's second pick effectively ended it.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Lynch needs 44 rushing yards to reach 1,000 for the fourth consecutive season and sixth time in his career. ... 49ers rookie LB Chris Borland had a team-high 16 tackles, the third time in five games he's registered double-digit tackles. ... Seattle's defense forced the 49ers into five punts and an interception on their first six possessions and San Francisco crossed its own 40-yard line once in the opening 30 minutes - on the final play of the half.
