Matt Forte had a receiving touchdown and totaled 168 yards from scrimmage while Martellus Bennet and Alshon Jeffery each recorded a receiving score for Chicago.

Brady and Gronkowski connected for a 6-yard TD pass just over five minutes into the game and Wright hauled in a 1-yard score to make it 17-0 with 8:09 left in the half. Cutler found Forte for a 25-yard TD to get the Bears on the board, but the Patriots took over in the final two minutes of the half and put the game away.

Gronkowski tiptoed the line to haul in a 2-yard score with 1:52 left and the New England defense forced a three-and out before Julian Edelman returned a punt 42 yards and Brady tossed a 9-yard TD on the next play to make it 31-7. Ninkovich sacked Cutler, forced a fumble and recovered it before rumbling for a 15-yard score on the next play to make it a 38-7 gap at the half, and Gronkowski dragged a defender across the goal line on the opening drive of the third to put the game away.
