Raiders 26, Chiefs 16: Carson Palmer threw a pair of touchdowns and Sebastian Janikowski kicked four field goals as Oakland posted a sixth straight road win over woeful Kansas City.

Darren McFadden ran for 114 yards on 29 carries for Oakland (3-4), which earned its first road victory in four tries this season. The Raiders have also won two straight for the first time this year.

Ryan Succop kicked three field goals for Kansas City (1-6). The Chiefs have lost four straight and their quarterback situation is even murkier after they lost newly-named starter Brady Quinn to a head injury early in the second quarter. He was replaced by the Matt Cassel, who had been benched prior to the bye week.

Oakland led 13-6 at the half after Javier Arenas' muffed punt in the final minute led to Palmer's a 9-yard touchdown pass to Denarius Moore. After Kansas City drew to within 16-9 on a 52-yard field goal from Succop, Palmer capped a six-play, 80-yard drive with a 32-yard touchdown pass to Darrius Heyward-Bey that made it 23-9 with just under six minutes to play in the third.

Palmer finished 14-of-28 for 209 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

Quinn made his second straight start for the Chiefs but was 2-of-4 for one yard and an interception before leaving early in the second quarter. Cassel, whom fans cheered when he suffered a concussion three weeks ago, was 20-of-30 for 218 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Cassel fumbled on the Chiefs' first possession of the second half and Janikowski booted a 29-yard field goal to make it 16-6 less than a minute into the third quarter. ... The Chiefs have allowed 89 points off turnovers - the most in the NFL. ... Quinn may have been injured when linebacker Rolando McClain slammed him to the turf after a pass attempt.
