Jets 23, Dolphins 20 (OT): Nick Folk's third field goal of the game, a 33-yarder 8:56 into overtime, allowed visiting New York to escape with the victory in the AFC East matchup.

Folk split the uprights after his initial attempt was blocked by Miami's Randy Starks, only to see it negated when the Dolphins called a timeout to ice the kicker. It also came on the ensuing possession after Dan Carpenter missed a winning 48-yard field goal attempt for Miami (1-2).

Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez struggled throughout, throwing for 306 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions on 21-of-45 passing, but he connected with Santonio Holmes on a 41-yard strike down the left sideline to set up Folk's winning kick.

LaRon Landry returned an interception 18 yards for a score for the Jets (2-1), who rallied from a 10-0 deficit and played the final 19 minutes without Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis.

Rookie Ryan Tannehill was 16-for-36 for 196 yards and an interception for Miami, which also got 1-yard scoring runs from Daniel Thomas and Jorvorskie Lane and was forced to play the second half without star running back Reggie Bush. Carpenter's 41-yard field goal with 16 seconds to play sent the game into OT.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Jets backup QB Tim Tebow had an eventful day. He kept the team's lone first-half scoring drive alive by picking up a first down on a fake punt, but he also took a sack deep in Miami territory and was hit in the helmet on a pass attempt when he failed to turn around in time. ... Bush hurt his left knee in the final 30 seconds of the first half and did not return. He had 61 yards on 10 carries, ending his bid for a fourth consecutive 100-yard home game. ... Revis, who sat out last week with a concussion, was hurt with just over four minutes left in the third quarter when his left knee appeared to buckle.
