Eagles 17, Browns 16: Michael Vick overcame a brutal performance by leading a late 91-yard touchdown drive to lift visiting Philadelphia over upset-minded Cleveland.

Vick capped a 16-play drive with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Clay Harbor with 1:18 to play to allow the Eagles (1-0) to escape with the victory and atone for his four interceptions.

Philadelphia's defense sealed the victory when Kurt Coleman picked off rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden for the second time with 64 seconds remaining.

Vick played only a handful of plays in the preseason due to thumb and rib injuries and his rust showed. He finished 29-of-56 for two touchdowns and four interceptions.

Weeden matched Vick in his pro debut, getting picked off four times and connecting on only 12 of 35 passes for 118 yards. Rookie running back Trent Richardson, who missed the entire preseason while recuperating from knee surgery, had a nondescript debut with 39 yards on 19 carries.

The Browns (0-1) picked off Vick three times in the second half and turned them all into points, forging ahead when D'Qwell Jackson returned an interception 13 yards for a touchdown and a 16-10 lead with 13:59 to play.

Jeremy Maclin had seven catches for 96 yards and an 18-yard touchdown pass just before halftime to send the Eagles into the locker room with a 10-3 lead.

LeSean McCoy rushed for 110 yards but also fumbled - one of five Philadelphia turnovers - as the Eagles handed Cleveland its eighth consecutive home-opening defeat.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Browns were the only team in the league not to hold a ceremony honoring the late Art Modell, who died earlier this week. Modell's family requested that the team skip plans to honor him for fear of the reaction. Modell owned the Browns from 1961 to 1995, but moved the team to Baltimore in 1996. ... Philadelphia had two turnovers and punted four times on six of its first seven possessions of the opening half. ... Browns CB Joe Haden, who had an interception, was playing while appealing a four-game suspension for taking a banned substance. ... The Eagles improved to 103-17 when leading at halftime under head coach Andy Reid, who is 4-0 lifetime against Cleveland. ... Browns LB Scott Fujita, who had his three-game suspension for participating in an alleged bounty program while with New Orleans overturned Friday, was not active for the game.
