The New Orleans Saints stuffed Michael Turner on fourth-and-inches in overtime, taking over on the Atlanta Falcons' 29-yard line to set up John Kasay's fourth field goal of the day for a 26-23 win and the NFC South lead Sunday at the Georgia Dome.

Kasay booted a 26-yard field goal with 8:25 left in overtime to give the Saints (7-3) back-to-back wins for the first time in a month. He also hit from 52, 48 and 44 yards earlier in the game and missed from 40.

The Falcons (5-4) forced overtime when Matt Ryan led them into field goal range after taking over at their own 6 with 1:55 left. Ryan hooked up three times on the drive with Harry Douglas, who finished with a game-high 133 receiving yards on eight catches.

New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees took advantage of a blown coverage to hit Jimmy Graham for a 21-yard touchdown in the second quarter, giving him 37 consecutive games with a touchdown pass.

That's the second-longest streak in NFL history. Johnny Unitas threw touchdown passes in 47 straight.

Brees also extended his NFL-record of consecutive games with 20 or more completions, topping that number for the 30th straight game. Brees went over 300 yards passing for the seventh time in 10 games this season.

Saints head coach Sean Payton returned to the sideline for the first time since suffering a torn meniscus and fractured tibia in his left leg when a player rolled into him on the sideline Oct. 16. Payton had coached from the booth since then.

New Orleans has won five of the past six meetings at the Georgia Dome. The Falcons have won 18 of their past 23 regular-season home games, but the Saints are responsible for three of the five losses.
