Rookie Andy Dalton threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns as the visiting Cincinnati Bengals came from behind to take down the Tennessee Titans 24-17 on Sunday.

Jerome Simpson, Andre Caldwell and Colin Cochart each caught a touchdown pass for the Bengals (6-2), who kept pace with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North.

The Titans (4-4) fell 1 1/2 games behind the Houston Texans in the AFC South.

Tennessee dominated the first half, taking a 17-7 lead into the break after a pair of touchdown passes in the second quarter from Matt Hasselbeck.

Cincinnati got rolling in the third quarter thanks to a pass-interference penalty on the Titans that advanced the ball 55 yards to the Tennessee 20. Dalton cut it to 17-14 two plays later with a 15-yard scoring pass to Simpson.

The Bengals grabbed the lead in the fourth, capping a 13-play, 75-yard drive with a 5-yard touchdown pass from Dalton to Caldwell.

Chris Johnson had another tough game for the Titans, rushing for 64 yards on 14 carries.
