The Seattle Seahawks and the NFL’s worst offense got a lift from the infamous 12th Man, edging the visiting Arizona Cardinals 13-10 at CenturyLink Field on Sunday.

Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson ran for go-ahead touchdown with just under six minutes remaining in the third quarter as Seattle beat the Cardinals for the third straight time.

Averaging just 191.5 yards through the first two weeks, Seattle put up 261 total yards, including 139 yards passing from Jackson, who was helped by the return of wide receiver Sidney Rice from a shoulder injury.

The former Minnesota teammates connected on eight passes for 109 yards. Rice had missed the first two weeks of the season due to a torn labrum.

Seattle rushing attack, which also ranked last in the NFL, got a boost from running back Marshawn Lynch, who carried the ball 19 times for 73 yards.

Arizona’s potent passing game was held in check by an underrated Seattle defense. Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb threw for 252 yards, finding star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald for 64 yards and a score.

Kolb threw two interceptions, including a crucial pick to Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.

Fitzgerald had five catches to become the Cardinals’ all-time touchdown receptions leader. He passed Roy Green (66) with a thrilling catch over two defenders in the corner of the end zone on a 12-yard catch from a scrambling Kolb in the second quarter.

Arizona was missing running back Beanie Wells, who sat out after pulling a hamstring in practice earlier this week. The Cardinals mustered 90 yards on the ground.

Seattle kicker Steven Hauschka kicked two field goals, including a 52-yard boot in the second quarter.

Arizona kicker Jay Feeley missed two of three field-goal attempts, including a 49-yarder that would have tied the game at 13-13.
