Michael Vick accounted for three touchdowns, including a 91-yard go-ahead score to DeSean Jackson, and the Philadelphia Eagles ended a three-game losing streak to the Dallas Cowboys with a 30-27 victory on Sunday night.

Vick was 16 of 26 for 270 yards with two touchdowns – one to guard Todd Herremans on a tackle eligible play – and two interceptions. Vick also ran for a score.

Jackson, meanwhile, finished with four catches for a career-high 210 yards despite being hampered by an apparent ankle injury. Philadelphia (9-4) moved one-half game in front of the New York Giants in the NFC East.

The electrifying duo helped the Eagles exorcise some demons in Dallas (4-9). Philadelphia lost 24-0 there last season in a game that decided the division title. The Eagles were also blown out 34-14 in the wild card round one week later.

Vick is the one big change for the Eagles since that game and he continued his MVP campaign.

With the Eagles backed up inside their 10-yard line, Vick fired a laser to Jackson near the sideline that just eluded the hand of Dallas’ Mike Jenkins. The diminutive receiver then outraced the Cowboys’ secondary, putting the Eagles ahead 27-20 with 11:24 left.

Moments later, Dimitri Patterson intercepted Jon Kitna, which set up a 28-yard field goal from David Akers for a 30-20 lead with 8:17 remaining.

Tight end Jason Witten’s second touchdown catch - a 22-yarder - cut the lead to 30-27 with 4:22 left, but the Cowboys couldn’t get a stop on defense when they needed it.

The Eagles were able to run out the clock behind LeSean McCoy, who racked up 149 yards on 15 carries.
