Marshawn Lynch rushed for 83 yards and three touchdowns as the Seattle Seahawks rebounded from an early 14-point deficit to beat the visiting Carolina Panthers 31-14 on Sunday.

The Seahawks (6-6) ended a two-game home losing streak and remained tied for first place in the NFC West with the St. Louis Rams, a 19-6 winner over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Carolina (1-11) had a 14-0 lead midway through the first quarter, but the Seahawks came back and used a 26-yard interception return by Lofa Tatupu for a touchdown to take their first lead at 17-14 with 9:18 remaining in the third quarter.

Matt Hasselbeck completed 17 of 30 passes for 229 yards and two interceptions for Seattle. Justin Forsett added 60 yards rushing on six carries for the Seahawks. Lynch had touchdown runs of 1, 1 and 22 yards - all in the second half.

Cameron Morrah had a team-high 69 yards receiving on three receptions for Seattle, which was without the services of leading receiver Mike Williams for the second consecutive game due to a foot strain.

Seattle's Brandon Stokley had four catches for 47 yards while Deon Butler added four receptions for 43 yards.

Rookie quarterback Jimmy Clausen completed 18 of 34 passes for 169 yards and one interception for the Panthers, who have lost six consecutive games and are 0-6 on the road this season. Steve Smith had a team-high 54 yards on three catches for Carolina.

Jonathan Stewart rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown for Carolina, owners of the NFL's worst record. The Panthers were held to 160 yards over the final three quarters after outgaining Seattle, 123-15, in the opening 15 minutes.

Following Tatupu's interception for a score, Carolina was held without a first down on its next possession and was forced to punt. Leon Washington returned the kick 84 yards to the Carolina 2-yard line. Lynch scored from a yard out two plays later to give the Seahawks a 10-point lead.
