The Green Bay Packers received three field goals from Mason Crosby and took advantage of three turnovers by the New York Jets en route to a 9-0 win at the New Meadowlands on Sunday.

It was the first shutout on the road for Green Bay since it blanked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1991. The Packers shut out the Detroit Lions at Green Bay last year.

Crosby provided all the offense. He hit a 20-yard field goal in the first quarter, a kick which capped a short drive following an unsuccessful fake punt in New York territory.

Crosby also missed a 45-yard field goal late in the first half.

New York’s Nick Folk missed a potential game-tying field goal from 37 yards away with 3:44 left in the third quarter and Crosby followed with field goals of 41 and 40 yards in the fourth quarter to seal the contest.

New York turned the ball over three times in the game and all three occurred in Green Bay territory.

The Jets (5-2) outgained the Packers (5-3) by a 360-237 margin in yards.

Mark Sanchez completed 16 of 38 passes for 256 yards with two interceptions. Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers was 15 for 34 for 170 yards.
