Aaron Rodgers threw for 295 yards and a pair of touchdowns and the Green Bay Packers held on for a 28-24 victory over the visiting Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night.

The Packers (4-3) intercepted Brett Favre three times in the second half and snapped a two-game losing streak while avenging a sweep at the hands of the Vikings (2-4) last season.

Favre, making what is likely his last appearance at Lambeau Field, appeared to hit Percy Harvin with a 35-yard scoring pass with 48 seconds to play, but the scored was negated when replays showed Harvin failed to get both feet down in the end zone.

The Packers scored a pair of touchdowns 59 seconds apart to take a 28-17 lead midway through the third quarter. Both scores came as a result of Favre interceptions.

A.J. Hawk picked off Favre and the Packers needed just five plays to cash in, with Rodgers hitting Greg Jennings with a 14-yard scoring pass for a 21-17 lead.

Desmond Bishop then intercepted Favre and took it back 32 yards for a score to extend the margin to 28-17 with 7:45 left in the third quarter.

Favre brought the Vikings right back on the ensuing possession, hitting Randy Moss from 4 yards out to whittle the deficit to 28-24 with 4:12 left in the third.

Rodgers had 227 yards passing in the first half but also threw a pair of interceptions in the red zone that cost Green Bay points. He finished 21 of 34.

Favre was 16 of 29 for 212 yards with one TD and the three picks. Adrian Peterson rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown for the Vikings.
