A 46-yard pass-interference penalty against the Broncos’ Renaldo Hill on fourth-and-6 from the Broncos’ 48 set up Tomlinson’s winning score.

Matt Prater’s 48-yard field goal with 3:55 to go had given the Broncos a 20-17 lead. Prater’s career-long 59-yard field goal as time expired in the first half put the Broncos ahead 10-7. The kick tied for the eighth longest in NFL history.

After Kyle Orton’s 17-yard touchdown pass to rookie Demaryius Thomas in the third quarter gave the Broncos a 17-10 lead, Tomlinson’s 20-yard run in the fourth quarter tied it 17-17.

The Jets’ Nick Folk made it 10-10 with a career-long 56-yard field goal in the third quarter.
