Texas A&M kicker Taylor Bertolet tied a Southeastern Conference record with six field goals, and Aggie wide receiver Josh Reynolds caught a 95-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Kyle Allen to break open a close first half, as the Aggies rolled to a 25-0 victory over Vanderbilt at Vanderbilt Stadium on Saturday night.

Facing a third-and-9 from his 5 with just over two minutes left in the first half, Allen found Reynolds behind cornerback Torren McGaster down the right sideline, threw a perfect strike, and the junior easily won a foot-race to the end zone to put A&M up, 13-0.

From there, it was virtually over. A&M dominated the stat sheet with a 486-148 edge in total offense, as the Commodores never really came close to scoring.

A&M got a 31-yard field goal from Taylor Bertolet just 1:31 into the game, then, got a 25-yarder from him with 2:32 left in the first quarter, that one set up by defensive back Devonta Burns' block that defensive back Sam Moeller recovered at the Vandy 13.

Bertolet connected on a 46-yarder with the wind on the last play of the first half, and hit kicks of 23, 41 and 46 in the second.

Allen, who took the starting job back from freshman Kyler Murray, was good enough to keep the job for the evening. He hit 18-of-36 passes for 336 yards, with no interceptions.

Vanderbilt got nothing done through the air with the quarterback tandem of Kyle Shurmur and Johnny McCrary, who combined to hit just 5-of-16 passing for 23 yards and an interception.
