No. 3 Baylor 61, No. 12 Texas Christian 58: Bryce Petty had career highs with 510 passing yards and six touchdowns - including two in the closing minutes - and Chris Callahan made a 28-yard field goal as time expired as the host Bears rallied from 21 points down in the fourth quarter to steal the highest-scoring game in the 110-game series.

Petty was 28-of-55 with all six of his TD passes going for at least 25 yards, engineering a game-ending 24-0 run to give Baylor (6-0, 3-0 Big 12) its 13th straight home win since a loss to the Horned Frogs in 2012. Shock Linwood rumbled for 178 yards and the receiving trio of Antwan Goodley, Corey Coleman and KD Cannon combined for 426 yards and five TDs as Baylor survived three turnovers and 12 penalties with a 782-yard effort.

A week after knocking off then-No. 3 Oklahoma, the Horned Frogs (4-1, 1-1) nearly led throughout against this week's No. 3 squad, going up 58-37 on Marcus Mallett's 49-yard interception return with 11:38 left in the game. Trevone Boykin was 21-for-47 for 287 yards and a touchdown and B.J. Catalon scored three first-half touchdowns, including a 94-yard kickoff return that put TCU up 31-24 late in the first half.

Two Jaden Oberkrom field goals and a 2-yard TD run by Trevorris Johnson gave the Horned Frogs a 44-30 lead in the third before Petty connected from 47 yards out with Jay Lee. TCU scored again just over a minute later and Mallet's big pick seemed to put it out of reach but Baylor scored three touchdowns in less than four minutes before stopping the Horned Frogs on a fourth-down try with just over a minute left and using a pass interference penalty to set up Callahan's kick.

Catalon's first TD made it 14-0 midway through the first and his second put TCU up 21-10 before Petty's second scoring pass cut the deficit to four points. Petty found Cannon for a 67-yard TD with 1:49 left in the first half, but Catalon took the ensuing kick back to give the Horned Frogs a lead they would not lose until Petty lofted a 25-yard TD pass to Coleman with 4:42 left in the contest.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Baylor now owns a 52-51-7 series advantage. ... Callahan was 4-for-9 in his career prior to the game-winning kick. ... WR Kolby Listenbee had 146 receiving yards and a TD for TCU while Aaron Green led the way on the ground with 67 yards and a score.
