Jaxon Shipley caught six passes for 81 yards and also returned a punt 41 yards to set up the Longhorns' first touchdown and John Harris finished with six catches for a game-high 89 yards and a touchdown.

McFarland for a 1-yard touchdown pass for the first score just four plays after Shipley's 41-yard punt return and scored the second on a 7-yard run three plays after Thomas' first interception which put the ball at the Kansas 13 after the Jayhawks were flagged for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty at the end of his 24-yard return.
