No. 8 Texas A&M 38, Rice 10: Kenny Hill went 20-of-31 for 300 yards and four touchdowns as the host Aggies improved to 3-0 for the first time under coach Kevin Sumlin.

Malcome Kennedy had seven catches for 88 yards while both Josh Reynolds' catches went for Texas A&M touchdowns. Tra Carson rushed for 66 yards but Texas A&M (3-0) was outrushed 240-168.

Driphus Jackson went 21-of-32 for 212 yards and a touchdown and rushed for a career-high 84 yards for Rice (0-2). Jowan Davis added 86 yards on the ground and Mario Hull had three catches for 57 yards and a touchdown.

Hill's touchdown passes to Speedy Noil and Ricky Seals-Jones gave the Aggies a 14-0 lead as Rice came up empty on two early trips deep into Texas A&M territory. Jackson hit Hull for a 35-yard TD to cut the lead in half with 11:59 left in the second quarter but the Aggies scored the next 21 points to blow open the game.

Hill hit Reynolds for a 48-yard score for a 21-7 halftime lead, found Reynolds for a 20-yard TD just 94 seconds into the second half and set up Carson's 1-yard TD plunge with a 39-yard run late in the third. Texas A&M's Josh Lambo hit a career-long 47-yard field goal early in the fourth to set the final score.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Rice had a 53-yard field goal at the end of the first half negated by a Texas A&M illegal substitution and the re-kick from 48 yards was blocked. Armani Watts returned the loose ball 93 yards for an Aggie touchdown as time expired but that score was negated by a Texas A&M sideline penalty. ... Texas A&M freshman DE Myles Garrett recorded three sacks, giving him six of the Aggies' nine sacks this season. ... Noil, who had three catches for 71 yards, limped off the field late in the third quarter and did not return.
