Mohamed Ibrahim scored two second-half touchdowns to lift Minnesota to a 20-13 victory over Nebraska on Saturday in a Big Ten game at Lincoln, Neb.

Ibrahim ran for 128 yards on 32 carries, his 17th consecutive 100-yard performance to make him the third player in school history with 4,000 rushing yards for his career. He had only 18 yards at the half and the Golden Gophers (6-3, 3-3) mustered just 31 total yards en route to facing a 10-0 deficit.

Minnesota brought in redshirt freshman quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis in place of Tanner Morgan to start the third quarter. Kaliakmanis completed 6 of 12 passes for 137 yards, while Morgan was 6 of 8 for 38 yards.

Matthew Trickett connected on a 47-yard field goal to cut the deficit before Ibrahim tied the game at 10-10 following a 3-yard touchdown run with 3:20 left in the third quarter.

Trickett's 49-yard field goal early in the fourth quarter put the Gophers up 13-10 before an interception by Terell Smith set up Ibrahim's go-ahead 3-yard score with 9:22 left.

Nebraska (3-6, 2-4) scored on the game's opening possession, with redshirt freshman quarterback Chubba Purdy scoring on a 2-yard run after tailback Anthony Grant gained 60 yards on that drive. Purdy was making his first career start.

Timmy Bleekrode drilled a 24-yard field goal later in the first quarter to make it 10-0.

The Cornhuskers had 125 yards on their first two drives but then only 43 on that next seven, including five consecutive three-and-outs.

Bleekrode hit a 26-yard field goal to get Nebraska within 20-13 with 4:29 to go. The Cornhuskers got the ball back with 2:25 remaining, however turned it over on downs near midfield with 1:13 left.

Minnesota is home for the next two games, beginning Saturday against Northwestern.

Nebraska visits No. 4 Michigan next Saturday.
