Not in the starting lineup due to a disciplinary issue, Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray had a monster day in the No. 6 Sooners' 66-33 win over Baylor on Saturday at Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, Okla.

Murray threw for 432 yards and six touchdowns and rushed for another as Oklahoma (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) remained undefeated.

Austin Kendall, who lost out to Murray for the job before the season, played the game's first series with Murray on the shelf.

But it didn't take long for Murray to make his mark as the Sooners stalled on their first drive, and Baylor turned the ball over on the ensuing punt.

Two plays later, Murray hit high school teammate Lee Morris for a 9-yard touchdown.

After a Baylor 3-and-out, the Sooners needed five more plays to take a two-score lead on yet another touchdown pass from Murray, this one to Grant Calcaterra for 30 yards.

Murray hit Morris for a 43-yard score early in the second quarter, and the Bears (3-2, 1-1) never got within one possession of the lead.

Four of Murray's touchdown passes came from 30 or more yards out.

Marquise Brown had five catches for 132 yards and two touchdowns, and CeeDee Lamb had three catches for 101 yards, including an 86-yard touchdown catch.

Redshirt freshman running back Kennedy Brooks had eight carries for 107 yards and two touchdowns.

The Sooners averaged 11.2 yards per play, running just 54 plays to Baylor's 101. Oklahoma averaged 25.4 yards per completion.

Baylor had the ball for more than 37 minutes to Oklahoma's 22:40.

The Bears scored on each of their first two drives of the second half, but each time the Sooners answered with a touchdown of their own to maintain their lead.

Murray's counterpart wasn't bad, either. Bears quarterback Charlie Brewer threw for 400 yards and two touchdowns.

Baylor receiver Denzel Mims had 11 catches for 114 yards and a touchdown, while Jalen Hurd had nine catches for 104 yards and a score.

The Sooners were without several key players, including starting left guard Ben Powers and defensive end Kenneth Mann.

The Sooners face Texas in Dallas next week. Baylor will host Kansas State.
