(OT): Stephen Morris threw for a career-high 436 yards and Mike James had four touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime, as the visiting Hurricanes rallied from 17 points down beat Georgia Tech.

After Miami (3-1, 2-0 ACC) stuffed Georgia Tech on fourth-and-inches on the Hurricanes 2 to start overtime, James ran one in from 25 yards out to complete a wild see-saw affair. Miami led 19-0 after one quarter before the Yellow Jackets scored 36 straight points, only to allow the visitors to score the last 23.

Morris connected with James on a 10-yard TD with 27 seconds left in the fourth to force overtime.

Quarterback Tevin Washington ran for three touchdowns and Tony Zenon had the first TD of his career for Georgia Tech (2-2, 1-2 ACC), which had 287 rushing yards. Washington was the ball-carrier on the failed fourth-down try in the extra session.

Washington attempted just eight passes on the afternoon, completing three of them for 132 yards.
