Cameron Marshall rushed for three touchdowns and Arizona State snapped an 11-game losing streak to visiting Southern Cal with a 43-22 victory Saturday.

Arizona State (3-1, 1-0 Pac-12) forced four Trojans’ turnovers - three in Sun Devils' territory - and sealed the win on Shelly Lyons’ 41-yard interception return for a touchdown with 6:37 remaining.

Marshall didn’t practice all week because of a sprained ankle, but he ran for a 70-yard touchdown on the fourth play of the game and finished with 141 yards on 25 carries.

After failing to establish the run in the first half, USC emerged from halftime with a balanced attack and took a 22-21 lead midway through the third quarter on touchdown drives of 65 and 80 yards.

USC (3-1, 1-1 Pac-12) struggled in the red zone in the first half, settling for six points in three trips. Linebacker Vontaze Burfict had a key interception that helped the Sun Devils take a 21-6 lead at halftime.

USC quarterback Matt Barkley had his worst game as a Trojan against Arizona State two years ago, and he struggled again at Sun Devil Stadium. Except for two series in the third quarter, he was pressured repeatedly and finished 21-of-33 for 227 yards with two interceptions and a touchdown.

Arizona State’s Brock Osweiler completed 25-of-32 passes for 223 yards and two touchdowns.
