N.C. State coach Tom O'Brien earned his first win against his former team as the host Wolfpack rolled past Boston College 44-17 on Saturday.
Russell Wilson threw for 328 yards and three touchdowns and N.C. State improved to 5-1 overall, 2-1 in the ACC. The Wolfpack also scored two non-offensive touchdowns. D.J. Green recovered a blocked punt in the end zone and C.J. Wilson returned an interception for a touchdown.
The Eagles fell to 2-3, 0-2 in the ACC. They had beaten N.C. State all three times since O'Brien left Chestnut Hill, Mass., to take over in Raleigh in 2007.
