Ryan Mallett threw for 380 yards and three touchdowns, including the game-winner with 16 seconds remaining as No. 12 Arkansas held off Georgia, 31-24, on Saturday.
Joe Adams finished with 130 receiving yards on six catches and Greg Childs caught the game-winning score for the Razorbacks, who passed their first road test of the season.
Arkansas had let the Bulldogs back into the game in the fourth quarter but got the ball back on their own 27-yard line with 47 seconds left on the clock. Mallett needed just three plays from there, hitting D.J. Williams twice before finding Childs on the left sideline for a 40-yard touchdown with 16 ticks left.
Georgia trailed, 24-10, after Malleft found Ronnie Wingo for a 22-yard score with 40 seconds remaining in the third. But the fourth quarter belonged to Georgia, with Aaron Murray hitting Tavarres King for a 10-yard score with 8:01 remaining and Washaun Ealey tying it up on a 3-yard rush with 4:10 on the clock.
The Bulldogs were once again without star receiver A.J. Green, who lost an appeal this week to have his four-game suspension for selling a game jersey reduced.
