Blue Bombers 33, Tiger-Cats 12: Andrew Harris accounted for 169 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Winnipeg cruised past Hamilton to win its first Grey Cup since 1990.

Zach Collaros completed 17-of-23 passes for 170 yards while short-yardage quarterback Chris Streveler had a touchdown toss for the Blue Bombers (14-7), who ended the second-longest championship drought in the CFL history. Harris rushed for 134 yards and added 35 on five receptions while Kenny Lawler Jr. finished with three catches for 52 yards for Winnipeg, which dropped both regular-season meetings with Hamilton.

Dane Evans went 16-of-27 for 203 yards and a touchdown, but was sacked six times and threw two interceptions for the Tiger-Cats (16-4), who haven't lifted the Grey Cup since 1999. Brandon Banks hauled in six passes for 72 yards before suffering a hip injury in the third quarter while Bralon Addison caught a touchdown pass for Hamilton, which has lost six consecutive postseason games to Winnipeg.

Adam Bighill recovered a fumble, which led to Harris' 15-yard touchdown run on the next play to put the Blue Bombers on top 7-0 before Lirim Hajrullahu kicked a pair of field goals from 44 and 47 yards to close the gap to two points early in the second quarter. Streveler threw an 18-yard scoring strike to Harris and Justin Medlock made no mistake from 17 yards with 15 seconds left in the first half to help Winnipeg build a 21-6 lead at intermission.

Addison caught a 4-yard touchdown pass after a fake field goal kept the drive alive to pull the Tiger-Cats within 24-12 before Medlock knocked through a 41-yard attempt on the last play of the third quarter to put Winnipeg in front by 15. Medlock made a 17-yard chip shot after a touchdown catch by Rasheed Bailey was overturned by the command centre and tacked on an 18-yarder with 2:41 left to help the Blue Bombers become the first third-place team to win the Grey Cup since 2005.
