Blue Bombers 29, Stampeders 28: Justin Medlock kicked a 34-yard field goal as time expired as Winnipeg edged visiting Calgary to win the season series for the first time since 2012.

Zach Collaros completed 22-of-28 passes for 221 yards and a pair of touchdowns in his first start for the Blue Bombers (11-7), who can host a playoff game if the Stampeders fall to BC in the final week of the regular season. Kenny Lawler Jr. caught five passes for 59 yards and a touchdown while Darvin Adams made a TD catch for Winnipeg, which was without quarterback Chris Streveler due to an ankle injury.

Bo Levi Mitchell was 31-of-43 for 350 yards and four touchdowns, including a pair to Eric Rogers (seven catches, 78 yards) for the Stampeders (11-6), who had won six of their previous seven games. Reggie Begelton hauled in five passes for 98 yards while Hergy Mayala had seven receptions for 83 yards and a pair of scores for Calgary, which missed a chance to clinch a home playoff date.

Mitchell scrambled to his left and fired a 22-yard touchdown pass to Mayala to put the Stampeders on top 7-0 before Medlock kicked a 29-yard field goal to get Winnipeg on the board. Janarion Grant returned a missed field goal 61 yards, which led to Nic Demski's 3-yard TD run that gave the Blue Bombers their first lead, before Mitchell answered with a 2-yard touchdown pass to Rogers with one second left in the second quarter to jump back in front 14-10 at intermission.

Lawler caught a 25-yard touchdown pass to give Winnipeg a 17-14 advantage before Mitchell threw a pair of scoring strikes to Rogers (10 yards) and Mayala (11) to vault ahead 28-19 following a successful two-point conversion on the last play of the third quarter. Collaros spun away from two defenders before finding Adams in the back of the end zone for an 8-yard touchdown to close the gap to two points midway through the fourth quarter and Medlock kept his nerve on the final play to help the Blue Bombers, who have a bye in the final week, improve to 8-1 at home.
