Adams, who also rushed for a score, was 27-of-43 while throwing three of his touchdown passes in the fourth quarter as the Alouettes (7-5) overcame a 20-point deficit to win for the fourth time in five games. Wieneke finished with eight catches for 134 yards and DeVier Posey had seven receptions for 132 yards and a TD while Quan Bray made two catches for 91 yards - including 60 on a play that helped set up the winning score.
Chris Streveler completed 19-of-22 passes for 180 yards and a touchdown while running for 84 yards and three scores on nine carries for the Blue Bombers (9-4), who remained tied for first place in the West Division while their five-game winning streak against the Alouettes ended. Andrew Harris rushed for 76 yards and made five catches for 112 yards after serving a two-game suspension for violating the CFL's drug policy.
Streveler capped the game's opening drive with a 1-yard touchdown run and connected with Darvin Adams for a 13-yard score later in the first quarter before scampering 38 yards for a TD early in the second to create a 21-3 lead. Streveler scored on another sneak and Kyrie Wilson returned a fumble 20 yards for a touchdown after a sack by Craig Roh, but Vernon Adams Jr. pulled Montreal within 34-17 on a 19-yard scoring strike to Chris Matthews with 12 seconds left in the opening half.
Justin Medlock provided the only points of the third quarter with a 30-yard field goal before Matthews hauled in a 10-yard touchdown toss with 11:41 remaining in the fourth to draw the Alouettes within 37-24. Jeff Hecht picked off a pass at the Blue Bombers' 3-yard line on the Alouettes' next possession, but Vernon Adams Jr. threw a 29-yard TD pass to Posey with 2:16 left before finishing off the comeback with a 94-yard drive.
