Johnny Augustine finished with 138 yards from scrimmage and a score, Daniel Petermann hauled in a TD pass and Janarion Grant added a special teams score for Winnipeg.

Cody Fajardo was 16-of-24 through the air for 196 yards and added 46 more on the ground with a touchdown as the Roughriders (7-4) saw their six-game winning streak come to an end after edging the Blue Bombers 19-17 on Sunday. Kyran Moore gained 70 yards on five receptions and backup Isaac Harker registered 54 yards passing on 4-of-6 attempts for Saskatchewan.

Streveler ended a long first drive of the game, which was aided by three penalties, with a 1-yard touchdown run and connected with Petermann for a 5-yard score early in the second quarter for a 14-3 Winnipeg lead. Grant took a punt back 72 yards for a TD with 2:37 left in the half before a late Fajardo fumble allowed Streveler to cap a four-play drive with another 1-yard sneak 9 seconds before intermission for a 28-3 lead.

The Blue Bombers stopped the Roughriders on the first possession of the second half and four plays later, Streveler hit Augustine down the middle for a 58-yard scoring strike. Fajardo got Saskatchewan on the board late in the third quarter with an 8-yard run, but the Roughriders went two-and-out on their next possession and Winston Rose ended their next drive with his league-leading eighth interception for Winnipeg.
