Andrew Harris powered his way into the end zone from 2 yards out to extend their advantage to 11 points and Medlock drilled a 51-yarder on the last play of the first half to put the Blue Bombers on top 20-9.
Sean Whyte (29 yards) and Medlock (37) traded field goals in the third quarter as Winnipeg maintained its 11-point cushion heading into the final 15 minutes. Streveler's 6-yard touchdown run with 2:13 remaining put Winnipeg in front 30-18 before Smith hauled in a 75-yard TD pass with 68 seconds left to bring Edmonton within six, but Medlock made no mistake from 50 yards out to seal it for the visitors.
