Blue Bombers 32, Lions 16: Matt Nichols threw for 179 yards and a touchdown as Winnipeg doubled up BC to extend its home winning streak to eight games.

Nichols completed 10-of-12 passes and added a rushing touchdown before leaving the game in the fourth quarter with a suspected arm injury for the Blue Bombers (7-2), who swept the season series for the first time since 2016. Nic Demski caught three passes for 63 yards and a score while Andrew Harris rushed for 73 yards as Winnipeg stretched its lead to four points at the top of the West Division.

Mike Reilly was limited to 177 yards on 16-of-28 passing with an interception and was sacked seven times as the Lions fell to 1-8 for the first time since 1996. John White rushed for 53 yards and a TD while Lemar Durant hauled in five passes for 108 yards for BC, which has dropped seven straight games to West Division rivals.

Nichols found Demski in the back of the end zone for a 5-yard touchdown to open the scoring and Justin Medlock kicked a 25-yard field goal to put Winnipeg on top 10-0 after the first quarter. Sergio Castillo drilled kicks from 35 and 50 yards to pull BC within four, but Ryan Lankford was tackled for a safety with 21 seconds left in the second quarter to give the Blue Bombers a 12-6 advantage at intermission.

White rushed for a 4-yard touchdown to put the Lions on top 13-12, but their first lead of the night was short-lived as Nichols scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak and Marcus Sayles took his blocked punt 9 yards for a TD with 2:05 remaining in the third quarter to vault Winnipeg back in front 29-13. Medlock converted a 53-yard attempt before Castillo made no mistake from 47 yards out to end a run of 20 unanswered points by the Blue Bombers.
