Short-yardage quarterback James Franklin threw a touchdown pass to Declan Cross and added another score on the ground for Toronto.
Brett Lauther kicked a 45-yard field goal and Collaros threw his first TD pass for his new team - a 13-yard strike to Roosevelt - to help give Saskatchewan an 11-1 lead. Lauther converted a 43-yarder to extend the Roughriders' advantage to 13 points before Ronnie Pfeffer connected on a 35-yard attempt to pull the Argonauts within 14-4 at halftime.
Lauther made a 46-yard kick to put Saskatchewan in front 17-5 before Franklin scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak early in the fourth quarter to trim the deficit to five. Marshall picked off a pass from Ray and raced 66 yards for a touchdown to make it 24-12 before Franklin found Cross for a 2-yard score with 2:16 remaining, but Lauther iced the game by booting his fourth field goal - a 32-yarder - with 13 seconds remaining.
