Roughriders 37, Alouettes 12: Trent Richardson rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns as host Saskatchewan cruised past Montreal to reach double-digit wins for the first time since 2014.

Kevin Glenn went 7-of-14 for 104 yards and two touchdowns while backup quarterback Brandon Bridge added 124 on 10-of-15 passing for the Roughriders (10-7), who moved into a third-place tie with the Edmonton Eskimos in the West Division. Chad Owens hauled in nine passes for 114 yards and a touchdown while Caleb Holley had three receptions for 83 yards and a score for Saskatchewan, which notched its fourth win in five games.

Matt Shiltz finished 5-of-13 for 47 yards and his first CFL touchdown after replacing an ineffective Darian Durant but the Alouettes (3-14) suffered their 10th straight defeat. Samuel Giguere caught a touchdown pass while B.J. Cunningham made a team-high five catches for 87 yards for Montreal, which dropped its fifth game by 25 points or more in 2017.

Richardson rushed for a 1-yard touchdown and Glenn fired a 2-yard scoring strike to Owens as the Roughriders capitalized on two Montreal turnovers to race out to a 14-0 lead. Taylor Russolino connected on field goals from 15 and 19 yards to pull the Alouettes within eight before Tyler Crapigna answered with a 30-yard kick to give Saskatchewan a 17-6 advantage at halftime.

Glenn lofted a 49-yard touchdown pass to Holley to stretch the Roughriders' lead to 24-6 before Shiltz fired a 10-yard TD strike to Giguere to close the gap to 12 after a missed extra point. Crapigna tacked on a pair of 24-yard field goals to put Saskatchewan on top 30-12 and Richardson punched it into the end zone from 2 yards to cap off an impressive display.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Crapigna missed a 43-yard attempt in the first quarter to see his streak of consecutive field goals end at 18 in a row. … Roughriders DB Ed Gainey registered his 10th interception to become the first Saskatchewan player since Terry Irvin (11) in 1984 to hit reach double digits. … Cunningham became the 10th player to reach 1,000 receiving yards this season. … Durant, who spent the previous 11 years with Saskatchewan, finished 9-of-20 for 126 yards with an interception.
