Redblacks 37, Tiger-Cats 18: Trevor Harris threw for 394 yards and two touchdowns as visiting Ottawa snapped its three-game losing streak and kept Hamilton winless.

Greg Ellingson made 10 catches for 155 yards and a TD for the Redblacks (2-6-1), who defeated the Tiger-Cats for the fourth time in five meetings. Harris completed 36-of-48 passes, including a late scoring strike to Jake Harty, while Brett Maher booted six field goals for Ottawa.

Zach Collaros went 9-of-17 for 102 yards and one touchdown in losing his 12th straight game and was replaced in the second half by Jeremiah Masoli, who was 7-of-12 for 68 yards for the Tiger-Cats (0-8). Luke Tasker caught six passes for 93 yards and a score while Brandon Banks ran for a TD for Hamilton, which has given up at least 30 points in every game this year.

Tasker leaped to pull in a pass from Collaros on the right sideline and turned it into a 45-yard touchdown to give the Tiger-Cats a 7-3 lead early in the first quarter. Sergio Castillo's 43-yard field goal made it 10-6 after 15 minutes, but Hamilton managed one first down in the second quarter while Maher converted kicks of 42, 52 and 48 yards to put the Redblacks in front 15-10 at halftime.

Harris connected with Ellingson for a 35-yard scoring strike on the final play of the third quarter and Ottawa's lead grew to 31-10 when Avery Ellis returned a fumble by Collaros 30 yards for a score on the first play from scrimmage in the fourth. Banks snuck into the end zone from 1 yard out to trim the Tiger-Cats' deficit to 31-18, but they could not get any closer, and Harris connected with Harty for a 3-yard TD with 2:38 left to seal it.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ottawa WR Kenny Shaw (leg) returned after missing seven games and hauled in five passes for 45 yards while teammate Brad Sinopoli made seven catches for 78 yards. … Hamilton DB Courtney Stephen returned a blocked extra-point attempt all the way to score two points early in the fourth quarter. … Ottawa RB Mossis Madu Jr. (undisclosed) was placed on the one-game injury list before Friday's contest and RB William Powell returned after a one-week absence to rush 12 times for 33 yards in his spot. … Hamilton reportedly acquired WR Ricky Collins from Saskatchewan on Friday for DE Mike McAdoo. … The Redblacks host Hamilton on Sept. 9.
