Lions 30, Roughriders 15: Travis Lulay threw for 338 yards and a touchdown as BC rolled to its seventh straight victory over visiting Saskatchewan.

Bryan Burnham finished with five receptions for 131 yards and a TD while Lulay completed 19 of his 28 pass attempts for the Lions (5-2), who accumulated 539 yards of total offence and led 30-0 until the final minutes. Jeremiah Johnson did not score a touchdown for the first time this season but gained 74 yards on 10 carries while Ty Long booted four field goals for BC, which visits the Roughriders on Aug. 13.

Kevin Glenn was 19-of-27 for 186 yards for the Roughriders (2-4) but tossed two interceptions and did not have a TD pass for second time in three games. Backup Brandon Bridge went 6-of-6 for 114 yards with touchdown tosses to Duron Carter (five catches, 83 yards) and Naaman Roosevelt in the final three minutes of the fourth quarter as Saskatchewan fell to 0-3 on the road.

Long converted field goals of 32 and 47 yards to end the Lions' first two drives for a 6-0 lead after one quarter, and the team extended that advantage on the first play of the second. Lulay connected with Burnham for a 13-yard scoring strike and ran for the two-point conversion before Long's 44-yard kick gave BC an 18-0 lead at halftime.

A 24-yard field goal from Long on the final play of the third quarter helped the Lions push the lead to 22-0 and Shaq Murray-Lawrence's 2-yard touchdown run early in the fourth made it 29-0. Bridge finally got Saskatchewan on the board with a 46-yard scoring strike to Carter with 2:59 remaining, completed a 45-yard TD pass to Roosevelt 1:38 later and connected with Kienan LaFrance for the 2-point conversion.

GAME NOTEBOOK: BC WR Chris Williams caught three passes for 75 yards in his first game of the season after recovering from a knee injury. … Saskatchewan K Quinn van Gylswyk took over for Tyler Crapigna (13-of-15), who was placed on the six-game injured list this week, but he did not attempt a field goal on Saturday while converting one extra point. … Lions DB Chandler Fenner recorded five tackles and an interception. … Roosevelt caught three passes for 65 yards.
