Stampeders 60, Tiger-Cats 1: Jerome Messam rushed for 91 yards and three touchdowns as Calgary routed Hamilton to extend its home winning streak to 13 games in one of the CFL's most lopsided contests.

Bo Levi Mitchell completed 11-of-17 passes for 197 yards and a touchdown before being rested in the second half as the Stampeders (4-1-1) won for the fourth time in five games. Marken Michel caught six passes for 190 yards and a TD while Roy Finch returned a punt for a score as Calgary won by the third-largest margin in league history.

Zach Collaros was 14-of-21 for 102 yards before being pulled in the third quarter by the Tiger-Cats (0-5), who haven't recorded a victory in Calgary since 2004. Jeremiah Masoli finished 7-of-15 for 77 yards and C.J. Gable accounted for 87 total yards for Hamilton, which has dropped 10 of its last 11 regular-season games dating back to last year.

Rene Paredes kicked a 43-yard field goal and Finch electrified the home crowd with a 97-yard punt return to put Calgary on top 9-0 after one quarter. The Stampeders blew the game open with a 30-point second quarter as Messam rumbled for touchdowns of 1 and 3 yards, Shaquille Richardson returned an interception 47 yards for a score and Michel made an acrobatic 35-yard TD catch to build a commanding 39-1 lead at intermission - the largest halftime advantage in franchise history.

Calgary kept pouring it on as Messam powered his way into the end zone from 1 yard out and third-string running back Ante Milanovic-Litre rushed for his first CFL touchdown (a 4-yarder) in the third quarter to make to 53-1. Backup quarterback Andrew Buckley zipped a 10-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Parker early in the fourth as the Stampeders went on to defeat the Tiger-Cats for the 11th straight time.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Calgary honoured the 1992 Grey Cup-winning team during a halftime ceremony. … Stampeders WR Kamar Jorden, who leads the CFL with four touchdown catches, suffered an ankle injury in the first quarter and did not return. … The Tiger-Cats' 59-point loss was their largest margin of defeat since an 82-14 setback against Montreal in 1956. … Buckley completed all 10 of his passes for 106 yards and his first career passing touchdown in relief of Mitchell.
